Settle Down by stand-up poet Angie Belcher

On Sunday June 1st at 7.30 Kidderminster Creatives present Settle Down by stand-up poet Angie Belcher, an Edinburgh preview in the intimate surroundings of the Boars Head Gallery surrounded by the latest art exhibition.

Settle Down is a poetic romp of dirty stanzas and awkward observations about approaching 40 via agnosticism, angry computers and puppies vs boys. Angie Belcher is a Bristol based stand-up poet whose live work is fruity and not for the feint-hearted. An accomplished comedy actor and writer, she has performed and written for screen and radio with her energetic style. “Funny, crude and incredibly charming” Word of Mouth  “Like Pam Ayres with attitude and an adult audience” Bristol Evening Post.

There will also be a 20 minute support slot by poet/musician Heather Wastie

Tickets are £3.00 on the door - Boars Head, 39 Worcester Street, Kidderminster DY10 1EW. Unfortunately the venue is not wheelchair accessible.

Jonny Fluffypunk at Mouth and Music

A brilliant stand-up poet with an unforgettable name is coming to Mouth and Music in Kidderminster on Tuesday 13th May. Jonny Fluffypunk describes himself as an 'armchair revolutionary'. His acute social observation, intricate humour and surreal fantasy are, quite simply, not to be missed! Also appearing is Four Tart Harmony, a cracking 4-part womanly group with lush harmonies. As usual there are short performance spots available on the night from 7.30 and the show starts at 8.00pm. Heather Wastie is MC and it's all happening at the Boar’s Head, 39 Worcester Street. See www.mouthandmusic.co.uk for more info.
