Mouth & Music

On Tuesday 14th January at 8.00pm, Mouth and Music will celebrate its second birthday at the Boar's Head, 39 Worcester Street, Kidderminster. This month's spoken word artist is Billie Spakemon telling stories “Frum the Coal 'ole”. Billie grew up in the Black Country and says he spent a lot of his early life in the coal hole to escape his mother who was chasing him “with a boiler stick”. Acoustic folk singer songwriter Jen Robins will also bring a gutsy blend of spiritual yearning & practical reality, with a touch of humour. MC Heather Wastie invites open mic performers to arrive from 7.30 to book a spot of 5 minutes or 2 songs. The theme for the evening will be Childhood.
