We are contacting you to invite you to submit work for an open art exhibition to be shown at Barbourne Health Centre in February 2013. The charity ‘A Picture for Health’ is keen to improve the atmosphere in GP surgeries by hanging pieces of original art. It also aims to promote the work of local artists by offering them exhibition space at minimal cost.
If you wish to enter a piece for the exhibition please fill out the attached form and send it/email it to Sally Morgan – details on the form. A Jpeg image/photograph, or paper copy will be required to allow selection if oversubscribed.
Please note this call for entries does NOT include photography as that is being considered for a future exhibition.
Please bear in mind that we are hanging in a Health Care environment so will be looking for work unlikely to cause offence or engender gloom.
Should you be successful we will ask you for a short biography and will display this information. Should anyone wish to buy your work, they will be asked to contact you directly. Whilst we will not take a commission we would ask for a voluntary donation to the charity of 5% of your asking price, for running costs.
