Job Opportunity - Family Support Practitioner (Community Food) - Malvern

The Malvern Children Centres Service delivers children centre projects that support families with a focus on the most vulnerable families and work towards reducing obesity.

Family Support Practitioner (Community Food)

£19,895 - £22,534 pa pro rata | Part-time, 20 hours per week | Fixed-term for 2 years

The role will support families with strategies to enable them to make informed positive choices for themselves and their children supporting the best possible outcome for children and families.

You’ll join the Malvern Children Centres motivated family support team working with partners and communities to develop and deliver food based programmes that empower residents to eat healthily and affordably.

What you’ll need:

To be educated to at least Level 3 in a relevant subject

Experience of working in a healthy eating or health promotion field

Experience of working in partnership to support local communities. 

 

And while you’re taking action for children, we’ll be taking action to make sure you’re fulfilled, with ongoing support and training opportunities.
