This is the background text to our Entrepreneur in
Residence posts. Ideally we'd like more women to get involved if possible! We
also have no EiR's from the arts world .... I am happy to amend it slightly to
reflect our desire to find more arts professionals - let me know what you
think!
Thanks and regards
Lisa
Worcester Business School of the University of Worcester is
looking to offer the position of Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) to support the
activities currently in progress within the School in promoting and supporting
Entrepreneurship amongst its Undergraduates and Graduate communities. The role
will allow contributions to the curriculum through inspirational talks,
mentoring support for new business starters and informing policy and practice
in this increasingly important area of the University’s work.
The post is unpaid, though financial support is offered for help
with travel and other expenses. In addition, EiRs will be able to access the
University’s resources and other development opportunities free of charge. This
position would suit an entrepreneur local to the University, who is looking to
play a part in supporting and encouraging entrepreneurs of the future in
different disciplines. Entrepreneurs in Residence will be appointed for three
years in the first instance.
