Compere needed - Voices and Visions 2017


Compere Needed for Voices and Visions

 

The County Arts Service and Severn Arts are looking to appoint a compere for the following events:

 

·         Voices and Visions at Worcester Cathedral on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th of June 

·         1000 Years of Song at Kidderminster Town Hall on Thursday 6th of July

 

All three events are part of the Voices and Visions Programme for Schools and will feature children and young people performing to parent, guardians and friends.

 

About the events

Voices and Visions is now in its 18th year and is the flagship project for schools and young people in the county. The two events at The Cathedral will feature up to 8 schools per event performing work to the theme of Our Generation

 

The 1000 Years of Song is an collaboration between Severn Arts and The County Arts Service and sees schools performing artistic interpretations to a selected group of songs hand-picked by the event organisers.

 

Your role

You will be the compere for the events and ensure that all three events are compered to a professional and entertaining way.

The events are family friendly.

You will be managed by Steve Wilson, County Arts Officer for each event.

 

The Fee

You will be paid £175 for each event.

 

Ideally we are looking for someone to be available for all three events.
