Making your art work: Career Development for Visual Artists

Visual artists, this is an opportunity to think about your practice as a sustainable enterprise and to begin focusing on the skills and tools needed to develop your career. The day covers a range of topics including:

•   Making successful proposals and applications
•   Selling and Presentation
•   Project planning
•   Defining and promoting your practice
•   Peer networks: critiquing, collaborating, strengthening the individual offer
Who is it aimed at: visual artists of any age and at any stage in the development of their practice based in the West Midlands.
Workshop tutors include Wendy Law, Director of Turning Point West Midlands; Laura Elliott, Director of Coventry Artspace and a freelance project manager and consultant; Amber Merrick- Potter, Artistic Coordinator at Coventry Artspace and practicing visual artist and Peter McLuskie,
