HMRC are forming a consultation on Gift Aid
that will be launched later in the year titled ‘Simplifying
the Gift Aid Donor Benefit Rules’. In order to form the questions/nature
of the consultation, they are asking more questions that can be seen here: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/446089/Donor_Benefits_call_for_evidence_web_v4.pdf
It
is important that Arts organisations have some input at this stage so that the
consultation also reflects the nature of our organisations so please respond if
you feel able to.
