Training Opportunity from The Audience Agency

Please note there is an audience development training event, Reaching Infrequent Attenders,  coming to Birmingham on the 27th September. It may be of interest to you, or to others in your organisation.

Reaching Infrequent Attenders, an AMA training event led by Sarah Boiling of The Audience Agency.

What is it about?
Have you ever been on a great night out at the theatre with friends and left saying ‘we must do this again’? Ever taken your children to a gallery and left wishing you had time to do that more often? Perhaps you used to be a frequent attender at the cinema with your partner but you’ve somehow fallen out of the habit? This workshop will explore how to identify, reach and engage all those people who attend the arts on an infrequent basis.

What will I gain?

  • Insight into how to develop a deeper understanding of the behaviour, attitudes and expectations of those who don’t attend as often as they’d like,
  • a framework for considering what you might need to change and adapt across the audience / visitor proposition in order to improve your engagement with them,
  • how to develop inspiring and persuasive marketing initiatives to encourage them to do more with you.

Who is it for?

Those responsible for planning and implementing marketing and audience development strategies.

There is  a special rate for Arts Council England NPO organisations and AMA members – just £75 +VAT. (Otherwise places cost £125 +VAT).

If you are interested in attending you can book online or contact the AMA for more information.
