On behalf of the
Worcestershire Arts Partnership we wish you all a peaceful yet creative
Christmas and New Year.
2013 saw the partnership grow
and develop further and we now have over 80 arts and non arts professionals
engaged in the partnership's work. Our partnership with the Canals and River
Trust will see an exciting arts programme in Worcester and Droitwich; our
on-going work with Arts Connect saw 'The Arts Chat' where we met with 30 young
people to discuss how we can work with young people in the county while many of
you attended our funding event 'The Income Generation Game'. Next year we will
look to develop the work of the WAP further and we also plan a number of artist
opportunities across the county. We know that these are difficult and
challenging times for the arts both in Worcestershire and across the country
but we are committed to making the arts prosper in Worcestershire.
